Caribbean Islands is an informative website about the Caribbean, a subregion of the Americas. The site covers the islands of the Caribbean Sea and the countries that border it.
What we cover
Our focus is the Caribbean region. This includes the island groups of the Greater Antilles, the Lesser Antilles and the Lucayan Archipelago. It also includes the mainland countries with a Caribbean coastline, from the Central American isthmus to the northern edge of South America.
How we build our information
Our content is built from research, verification and reviewed submissions. We check facts against reliable sources before we publish them. We do not state superlatives or claims we cannot confirm. Our media and creator sources are listed on the Caribbean Explorers page, and our data and statistics sources are listed on the Source page.
Contributions from travelers
Part of our information comes from the people who visit the Caribbean. Travelers, tourists and photographers submit what they see and record. We review these submissions before they become part of the site.
Who we are
Caribbean Islands is founded and built by Jhosé Mora Féria, a web architect whose work and identity are at jhose.com. The site is independent. It is not owned by a tourism board, a hotel group or a booking platform. Its information is developed by the founder and by the travelers, tourists and photographers who submit what they record.
